| Feb 3, 2011 5pm Opening Reception | FACES OF LOVE ART FOR SHELTER ANIMALS FUND RAISER Blue Acorn is proud to present the paintings of Carol Lavoie. Carol has been a local painter and supporter of the no-kill animal shelter, The Protectors of Animals in E. Hartford for the past 10 years. All paintings displayed will be portraits of shelter animals and 30 % of the painting proceeds will go to support Protectors of Animals. Jody Macrena, head of the Protectors of Animals will be on hand with her good will ambassador dog. Framing of the artworks is generously donated by EB Gallery in Wethersfield, CT. All monies raised from the Art Auction will go to The Parent Action Committee that supports porgrams at Silas Deane Middle School. Food & Refreshments will be served.
